so i'll keep on waiting til i'm back where i belong...
Ya know, I just sat here for about 5 minutes thinking about how exactly I wanted to start this blog entry, because there's so much I wanna say, but I just don't know where to start. Conclusion: Sometimes you just have to jump right into things. So here it goes- this past weekend was amazing. And it's kinda funny that it was amazing because it's not even like it was jam-packed full with tons of stuff, because it wasn't. It was acutally very relaxing. However, in the words of Jake Waccholz, "This weekend was effin' awesome. Jealous?"
It started on Friday, obviously, because that's when most weekends start. (P.S. I love that now whenever I tell anyone about my weekend I tell it like a weekend story in TV class... I love that class.) So Friday, I got picked up to go to the football game because my back tire was flat and my Dad wouldn't let me drive it in the rain. Don't ask me why I went to the football game in the freezing cold when it was raining outside, I really don't know. But it was fun. Conclusion: I love football games. So we went and hung around until it was so freezing that I couldn't feel my fingers and left in the middle of halftime. After the game, or should I say in the middle of the game, Tony, Mihok, and I drove to Blue Sky to get a table because we had like 17 people meeting us there after the game. So then Jake, Rania, Justin, and Gary met us there and we sat down at this huge table and ordered food. Then Jordan Murray, Mandi, and Sara came and pretty soon we were joined by Sac, John Melick, Ian, and Betsy. (I'm sorry if I forgot you, there really was a big group) But it was so awesome because it was basically all the "Joseph" kids reunited and it felt just like summer. I miss summer so much. I seriously don't think I've ever missed it this much before. I mean, there's always that little feeling of nostalgia that lasts until like the middle of September, but October is almost over and I still miss it like crazy. I love my friends. All 918457018457 of them!! Just kidding. Anyway, so all of us were at Blue Sky when Jake's phone rang and it was Amber saying that her car had died in the library parking lot and she needed someone to come and pick her up. So Tony and Mandi went and picked up her and and Joy and brought them back to Blue Sky. By the time we left, we must have been there for at least 4 hours. It was great though. Mitch asked me today in TV why we are so obsessed with Blue Sky and we go there every weekend, and I really didn't have an answer besides the fact that we have nothing better to do. I mean, if you think about it, we really don't. None of us want to be home, because... who does?? And it's not like we can all go clubbing... so we go to Blue Sky. It's cool... the whole staff knows us and they love us.
So that was my Friday, cuz after I got home I just went to bed cuz I was exhausted. It had been a very long week. Oh yea, I almost forgot. I felt really bad because Leila called me as I was leaving Blue Sky and she really needed to talk to me and since I was leaving I told her I'd call her back in like 2 seconds. Well, definitely got too caught up in the moment I guess and totally forgot to call her back til like 1 am. I'm sorry Leila.. I love ya! Anyway, I slept in til like 10:30, which is pretty early for me, on Saturday and then woke up and layed around the house until Mihok called and we decided to go up to Cedar Point for Halloweekends. So me, Mihok, Mandi, Jake, John Melick, and Justin drove up there around 2 and stayed until around 8:30 when the girls left because Mihok had to babysit at 930. It was soo much fun. I haven't had that much fun at Cedar Point in a long time, it was great. The group I was with is amazing and even though it was freezing cold all day and raining, it was awesome. We didn't ride very many rides, Disaster Transport, Calypso, Iron Dragon, and Mean Streak, and we went in two haunted houses, and saw two shows. I swear Jake is like some kind of heat box or something because he kept us warm the whole time. He's a pretty cool kid... it's hard to believe that I couldn't stand him in the beginning of the summer. What was I thinking?? So I ended up becoming completely broke, I mean I literally have NO money, I came home and got invited to go to Jake's and watch a movie, but I didn't cuz I was WAY tired. So I just went to bed and slept til noon on Sunday. My mom was kinda mad cuz I didn't go to church, but I really was tired. And it's not like I can sleep in real late this weekend cuz I have the pancake breakfast on Saturday morning which I still need to find a costume for... any ideas??
Sunday was really a "blah" day. All I did was lay around all day. I had so much to do too, and really I had all day to do it, but I barely got anything accomplished. It was nice though. And of course right when I sat down to actually DO my homework, Tony called and asked if I could help him study. I told him I couldn't because I had so much to do, but it did no good because I just ended up talking to him on the phone forever anyway. So it was actually 9 o'clock when I just started to read Moby Dick. It sucked. Oh yea.. and P.S.- TONY AND I ARE NOT DATING. Just thought I'd throw that one in there since still no one believes us. I finished my homwork around 1 and went to bed exhausted. Again.
So as you can see, my weekend wasn't ALL THAT exciting. But still amazing. I just love spending time with good friends. It makes life worth living. Today in school was ok. Typical Monday, consisting of notes in Social Studies and English, spicy chicken strips at lunch, getting yelled at in choir, and weekend stories in TV. It was a pretty good day though. I thought I was gonna have tons to do tonight, but it turns out I really don't. Which is good, I could definitely use the extra sleep. Well I'm now officially proud of myself for taking the time to write out a second blog entry in 3 days. How cool is that?!?! I know you all are proud of me.. if you are then I would appreciate a comment or 2. Then at least I know I'm not typing this all out for no reason. Thanks guys. I love you and I'll write soon. Have a good one.
